Kids love hand puppets, and this beautiful plush moose will not disappoint. This overstuffed, chocolate brown moose stands 20 inches high and 20 inches long and is amazingly realistic. He has thick brown fur, a big brown head with black vinyl nostrils, glistening brown eyes, soft beige antlers, and black vinyl hooves. The plush-lined hand opening is soft to the touch, and its forward location allows the moose's body to sit comfortably upon the forearm. Gently turn your arm and the moose walks along a tabletop--the slightest hand movement effectively maneuvers the mouth. In spite of his oversized nose, knobby knees and sprawling crown of antlers, the moose still manages to look majestic as he lumbers across subarctic terrain. Fun Facts:

• Moose live in all the forested areas of Canada, and in Maine and the Northern Rockies. 'Moose' means 'twig- eater' in Algonquian.
• A bull moose can be seven and a half feet tall at the shoulders and weigh 1600 pounds. They have the biggest antlers in the deer family.
• Moose can walk through deep snow with their long legs. They also dig beds in snow to insulate themelves from extreme cold.
• Moose like water. They can dive down 20 feet to feed on bottom growth. They also will swim long distances to escape grizzlies.

Mrs. Monster and I are HUGE fans of "Evil Dead: The Musical" where a Candarian Demon Moose sings along with Candarian Demon Cheryl in the hilarious song, "Join Us". I had planned a weekend of horror for the two of us here at Doc Monster Labs and, since I always give her a gift at the end of our special weekends, I gave her the moose as he was singing "Join Us".

He's an extremely well-made puppet as one would come to expect from the fine folks at Folkmanis. He's a great looking moose, the mouth is made well for easy and flawless manipulation and he's incredibly durable; the song really puts him through his paces the way I perform it. We have proudly added Moose to our ever growing collection of Folkmanis puppets.

I have a moose bedroom and he looks great sitting on the bed. I haven't had a chance to use him in a puppet play but I think he will be very expressive. Very nice quality.
