This owl is ingenious! I'm impressed with most of the Folkmanis puppets, but Snowy's truly incredible. Hands of all sizes can have hours of creative fun with this beautiful bird - whose head actually rotates 360 degrees! An added bonus is the soft, lifelike plush coat. Not for nocturnal use only!

People of all ages will love this puppet! My mom got it for me last year, and I absolutely fell in love with it the moment our eyes met. =) Not literally, of course, but the eyes hold another realistic touch to my buddy. Stick your hand right into this cute owl and you can use it to flap his/her wings, as well as use the stick inside to rotate your owl's head a full 360 degrees! You don't have to grope around for the stick...it's right there, in the same convenient place all the time. The beak is made of a fine, durable leather, and the markings and coat are realistic. This owl is not only a puppet, but is very soft and cuddly and can pass for a loved stuffed animal as well. The stick does not make it any less cuddly...you can't even feel it! The feet and talons have realistic tufts of white fur on them. Overall, I hope you get this new member of the family...something you AND your kids will cherish! (Or maybe you just want to get it for yourself). If you don't purchase this loving friend, you'll really be missing out.

My mom ordered it for me to go with my Harry Potter costume. It's good for playing Harry Potter. It is just like Hedwig in the movie (I named mine Hedwig). It is very soft and fun to hug and cuddle. It is a puppet with a short plastic control stick inside which turns the head. You cannot feel the stick when you hug it. The spots on the owl are darker than expected. It is 9 inches tall sitting on it's own. The wing span is 23 inches. It has perfectly shaped talons and a tail in the back. It has a little bit of velcro at the tip of the wings to hold the wings together at the back or in the front. It comes with directions and description about Snowy Owls. It is super cute!

I bought this one and the Emperor Penguin puppet for my baby... she loves them both.

The owl is awesome, soft... the head rotates all the way around via a stick inside. I can maneuver the wings and head at the same time with one hand, which really entertains my daughter.

This snowy owl is a part of my plush/puppet collection, and I don't regret the addition. The head can be turned and the wings flapped with your hand, and patches of velcro allow the wings to be folded back realisticly when not spread. The material is very soft, and the beak and talons are leather, not plastic. My only nitpick is that the feet have only three claws, when they should have four. However, this small inaccuracy shouldn't stop anyone from adding it to their collection.

This photo does not do the product justice. It is an armful, you slip your hand inside and you can turn her head around, flap her wings and you can use a velcro in back to pin the wings back. She is large, (not huge), very soft, cuddly, like a plush toy, beautiful eyes, face, wings, coloring, a masterpiece! I love her.

This is one of my favorite owls and favorite puppets. You really need to see it to appreciate just how gorgeous it is. The only drawback that I have found is in trying to fasten the wings back into the "at rest" position. They seem to pull too tightly on the owl. Of course, that could just be on mine.

This is one of my favorite plushes that I have purchased on amazon. It is not only a puppet where you can flap it's wings but it has a marionette neck stick so you can rotate its head. And even though it has the internal neck feature you can still hug it without worry of brakage. The wings also have velcro attachments so you can rest his wings behind him as a real bird would when perched.

This is a great toy for children of all ages, I've found it especially useful in Harry Potter plays my children have preformed.

Our 6 year old grandson and 8 year old granddaughter "play" Harry Potter all the time and had to use a stuffed koala as their owl----that even got tossed around to show him flying. I found this one online and picked it for it's size rather than for being a puppet. It not only works nicely in their "play" (with his turning head), but it is so cushiony it goes to bed at night with the 6 year old.
