Realistic plushes always get my attention, and this one was not different. The market is so full of cute little animals (cats, dogs and the like) that finding a realistic-looking bird was a surprise.

This raven is quite big; you can insert almost half arm inside. Your fingers can work the beak and the wings. It has big round purple and black eyes, and it's very soft despite its appearance.

However, you can't prop it to stand like the picture shows. The feet are not wired (therefore, they bend). But you can make it "sit".

A must for any Poe fan!!

I ordered this for my language classroom. It is a beautifully made puppet, seems to be very durable, and I think I will get a lot of use out of it. It arrived in a very timely fashion, too. I recommend it!

This puppet is much nicer than it photographs in his picture! He is large, black and furry...Lots of personality...I call him Russell. I think any puppeteer would love this crazy bird.

My 12 year old Daughter loves animals and collecting puppets and figurines. I was not surprised at all when she asked to get this. It is quite realistic and well made.

This puppet was a Christmas gift. It's very big and sturdy and I was impressed by the quality. Love the purple eyes!

First off, I don't use this as a puppet, I just bought it because it looked cool, and I like ravens. It's about a foot and a half tall and has the consistency of a typical stuffed animal. The beak and the feet are a more firm type of faux leather. The only issue I could see with this product is the feet. If being used as a puppet, the feet would be a little difficult to control, and probably would not appear as straight as in the advertised picture. the beak is simple to control, and only requires one or two fingers on the lower part to move; however if you only use the bottom half to open and close the beak, the puppet does a little head bob. To fix this you can put a finger in the top half of the beak to steady the head, which may result in your hand cramping after a while. As a collectible, it doesn't stand up on its own, but it's an attractive and fun display once you get it right.

I was pleased with the raven because I'm using it in Bible school to teach about the
ravens feeding Elijah. It is a very authentic raven. If you are looking for a cute puppet this is not it. It is very realistic. I was very pleased. It has pockets for the wings and I am trying to figure out how to get a wire in the wings so I can move them. The mouth is really just the beak moving so you have to manage it with two fingers in the beak. I really haven't tried to use it yet but I think it is going to be just fine.

Purchased this raven puppet to use at Vacation Bible School for a story about how Elijah was fed by the ravens. Kids of all ages loved it and everyone wanted a chance to pet the bird! It is very life-like in its appearance and size, but still light and easy to manage. The beak is a little stiff and doesn't move as much as I would have liked in order to be able to grip things, but still workable. I was surprised by how much the kids seemed to enjoy it -- from preschoolers to 10 year olds!
