I have quite a few Folkmanis puppets and must say that while I was impressed with the size of the goat both as a stuffed animal and puppet this was the first time I was seriously disapointed in production quality. The fabric is fine but there is a noticeable lack of attention to detail. The eyes seem almost backwards & unable to be adjusted & the inside of the mouth is small for a man's hand and very rough to the point of discomfort if used for a while. Although not a Folkmanis issue mine was squeezed into a box with the donkey that had the same exact production value problems. This caused me to notice they're made in China & may show a change in factories lately. Still cute but those things "got my goat." ;0)

This goat puppet is quality made and overall very nice. The only complaint I have is that the mouth is small and not very mobile. I use this puppet to teach children and, compared to my other Folkmanis puppets, this one takes much more work to use.

My daughter loves her goat puppet. It is larger than we expected, but that makes it more realistic looking.

I bought this goat for my 3-year-old niece. We had so much fun with it. At first glance, it can look real in your arms. It gave my niece a bit of a thrill when it would start to eat our clothes...and even crunched a tin can! Really nice quality - we had so much fun I think I need to buy one for everyone else in the family now.

I actually bought this for a friend of mine who is giving this to her grand-daughter for Christmas, reason is she lives on a farm and has goats, ponies and other animals. But I'm sure she will love it.

When my granddaughter was born, a friend gave a goat in her name courtesy of the Heifer Project. My friend found a children's book about what happed to the family in the village after they got the goat. We decided that my granddaughter, now 3, would understand better if she had a goat also. Hence the idea of the Folkmanis goat. It was a very big success!

The Folkmanis Goat puppet is now being used as the Traveling Trophy for our 6th Grade study of the Ancient Greek theatre. As in the tradition of the ancient greeks the "goat" was given as the prize for best play performance at our Festival of the Greek Arts. Thanks Folkmanis for providing excellent workmanship and high quality puppets!
