This is a wonderful cat, the hair is a multi mix of colors and has beautiful eyes and curved paws. Looks lifelike and is good for a joke if you lay it down. Mouth moves. This puppet is huge! My dogs are scared of it!

My grandson wasn't much for stuffed animals, but when he saw this cat, he fell in love and carried it everywhere. We didn't use it as a puppet very much, because every time we tried, he wanted to hold it himself.

This is the most realist puppet we have ever seen. My daughter is 3 and loves it. She wanted a "pet" and so far this puppet has satisfied her! This puppet is well constructed. It looks very life like and when its laying down, you might have to take a second glance. My daughter has played with her cat everyday since Christmas.

I bought this life-size Ragdoll cat for a very dear life-long friend of mine. She always had pet cats most of her life and one by one 5 of them died within a few years of each other from old age. Her heart was totally broken. She has had no desire to have cats any longer. The pain was too deep for her. She just recently moved into a lovely apartment for seniors up in the Boston area. I found this Ragdoll cat on a few websites. Amazon had the best price so I ordered it to be delivered to her. She's in love with this cat and named him Magic. She sleeps with him every night and cuddles with him in the living room while watching TV. She's even used it as a puppet!!! It does my heart good to know my friend has this cat that is always waiting for her at home and will never go away!!!! Plus, I am sure it is comforting knowing that it came from her dear friend who loves her very much. We met each other in Boston when we were 11 years old. We are both now in our 60's and our friendship is very precious indeed.

I saw this puppet here on Amazaon and just had to have him for myself.

I have always been a fan of Ragdoll cats and crave the day when I could have one that I could call my own...I have one in this toy. He sits on my bed and waits to cuddle at night.

I recently lost my two favorite pal's in the World.... My Maine Coon cat, and another (a year earlier). I work third shift, and so, when I would come home in the morning, my cat would do everything with me... She would eat at the same time... sleep on the bed (as they are more nocturnal... although they seem to sleep seventy percent of their day away)... And, the biggest thing, besides the company, was sleeping! She would curl up with me, and the two of us would sleep. After eighteen years of that, I was totally at a loss (not just because I'd lost my baby), but because I could no longer follow my routine! There was no one to lean against! No warm kitty by my side to help me sleep! Now, with this almost perfect weight poppet, I have found something to lean on thru this tough time! It's raggedy-like fur helps to make it that much more real! And, the longer it's against you, the warmer it gets; having absorbed your warmth (so, if you have a young child, it should be very comforting)! It is realistic enough, that when my wife got home... and entered the room, I asked her to "keep it down, the kitty's sleeping!"... and she immediately did a double take (thinking I'd gotten another cat)! She approached it in awe..., and as I had my hand inside the poppet's uniquely hidden hand slot, I began to move the head slightly! I thought she was going to scream! It was purrrfect! Even during the daytime, the cat causes people whom stop over to stop in their tracks at the door, so that they don't bother the "Kitty"... It would be perfect for all kids (which it is for of course), and those like me, whom miss their baby, but are not willing to find another! The only warning I would have, is NOT to brush out the fur, which is something one thinks of doing! It is meant to look raggedy, and if you brush it out, it probably wouldn't return to the way it's supposed to look! The instructions say that it's washable in cold water (but don't dry), and there are no parts which seem as if they'll come off (the eyes are hard, but seem un-removable). Also... you can add to the cat, by purchasing one of those toys which purr. By putting it inside the poppet slot, the young child would be easily soothed to sleep by the purring of a warm kitty (one that doesn't scratch them up, or need to use the litter box)! Enjoy! I'm sure enjoying mine!

This is a wonderful toy. I actually got it for myself as a birthday gift (I'm 56) and use it as a neck-pillow when I'm watching TV. Its very well made, exceptionally "floofy", and looks so charming sitting on the back of my wingbacked chair!

I use this Ragdoll cat as my storytime cat, and I often leave it on my desk at the library. I have had countless people ask, "Is that a real cat?!?" It is super cuddly and the kids love holding it. It is also easy to use.

This is a PUPPET, so if you want just a stuffed animal this is NOT it. The product should have included the word PUPPET in it's name.

I do not like this thing! It reminds me of that toy in the TV ad where the family really wants to get the thing out of there. The eyes, which some have described as beautiful, to me, look demented and pretty scary. Its little mouth is red and open, as though ready to take little nips out of me while I sleep. The fur is kinda ratty and I did not care for the texture and feel. I replaced it with an Aurora calico kitty, much more to my liking. Also, keep in mind that it is a puppet, so it is not really fully stuffed. I also had a lot of issues with the company, Folkmanis, which I guess were not allowed in a product review. Anyway, I returned it as fast as I could, despite being a major cost to me.
