Folkmanis Shark Stage Puppet

I saw Craig Ferguson use this shark to lip sync songs on his show "The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson. (Major funny; watch the videos on YouTube). In fact, Feguson has a whole bunch of puppets that make appearances. So when the shark became available, how could I resist?

One of the best features of this particular puppet is its big-ness. Adult hands can fit easily and the head and teeth themselves are quite substantial. The teeth can actually make noise when snapped together hard enough, which of course, I am wont to do when making a particular point using this puppet. Alos a bonu, is that the sie fins can be manipulated as well.

Because the head is large, a hat, (I use a small cowboy hat), can be placed securely onto him. (The shark seems obviously a him, though not necessarily a lawyer). Flashback to a scene in Toy Story when a shark puts on Woody's hat...ha, ha, ha. Excellent fun to be had by all.

One of the beter puppets available with a surprising number of different ways to be used. Excellent choice, excellent quality.

The Folkmanis dealerships around my area do not sell stage puppets, so when I saw Craig Ferguson using these kinds of puppets on his show, I knew I had to have some. The shark puppet is an excellent purchase. For starters, the thing is HUGE! Folkmanis has a bigger full body Great White puppet and this stage puppet is nearly as big as that one (and a whole lot less expensive). There is also a wide range of motion that can be done with the shark to act out performances. The puppet also has a sock hole in the front for sticking either your fingers out or putting other objects in so it looks like the shark swallowed something.

If you like Folkmanis puppets, like the puppet on the Craig Ferguson show, or just like sharks, get this puppet. It is money well spent.
