This is a very cute toy, it reverses beautifully, but in no way is it a puppet. Just be aware of that before you buy it, because if you want something you can put your hand or fingers in and animate, this is not it.

I ordered this caterpillar as a fun little gift for my girlfriend, and although it is very nead and she loves it, it looks very different from the picture shown. The one I received is green corduroy, which is not what is shown in the picture. Nevertheless, it is still very cool.

I bought this for a program we do at my church. The kids really like this puppet and can interact with it.

I used this toy on Easter Sunday to talk to the children at church about Jesus' rising from the dead. It was great! I used a brown cloth bag to make a cocoon and transformed the toy from a caterpillar to a butterfly inside the bag while I talked... you should have seen their eyes when those colorful wings came out of the bag. This was worth every cent I paid. I had seen one of these used on a Chrysalis Flight before.

Great for teaching metamorphosis lesson. The children loved to see the caterpillar becoming a butterfly.
