Are you my mother? This fuzzy baby emperor penguin's deep green eyes will tug at your heart. Not yet old enough for a "tuxedo," it still sports a soft down coat from the top of its black-and-white head to just above its large black vinyl feet. Its plump body is gray with a white belly. The opening next to the tail lets a puppeteer place five fingers in the two legs, two wings, and head, making this penguin capable of a lot of movement. This is the perfect hand puppet for an infant or child. Soft, plush fur fabric with no shedding. Secure eyes and faux leather beak. Very well made. Puppet fits hand perfectly to operate fins and head. We purchased this for an infant because they prefer black and white colors during the early development stage. The baby responds well to the puppet and is already reaching for it. It is large enough for a small child to hold as a stuffed animal. Folkmanis hand puppets have been in our family for years and I am happy to see they still maintain high quality items.

The three penguins arrived very quickly, and were better quality than I'd hoped for! They made 3 grandchildren
very happy. With lots of penguin choices these days, I am very glad I chose these - and the puppet aspect made them even better. excellent buy!
