My 8 year old likes this little penguin because he is "very soft, cute and realistic."

We like that this puppet is not floppy like many other puppets. You can play with him like a regular stuffed animal if you want to. My kids usually aren't interested in puppets. However, my son does say that being able to put the penguin on his finger gives him an easy way to carry him. This little penguin is the best of both worlds -- a puppet and a stuffed animal in one.

My daughter loves it an takes it everywhere with her. She calls it "Fuzzball". It is clearly well made and is holding together well with rough handling.

The picture is not very accurate now - you get the small baby penguin finger puppet. It is cute, but for some reason, the one I was shipped seems to be warped. The top of the head is not round, but indented. Still cute though. I wish the stitching wasn't so uneven and that my penguin's head wasn't deformed. He is not proportionate.
