outstanding sampler of bavarian music. Has a high tech sound mix which appeals to casual and/or easy listening. Fell one star short only because my personal preference for that rough um bah ba sound. Glad I bought this CD, and, off course, I recommend it because it gives me, well, a touch of bavarian class, --enjoy---

Truly great compilation with original Bavarian music. Some real zither playing (Bartholoma, Rudi Knabl), real yodeling (Die 3 Lustige Moosacher), plenty of great polka dancing tunes and marches and, best of all, "Das Gluck in den Bergen" (Traudi und Uschi) and the poignant "Patrona Bavariae" that opens this remarkable CD. If you are into world music, into German and Bavarian folksongs, this is a fine record.

I wanted some true folk music after going to my local Oktoberfest, this is the next best thing. I wish there was some info inside the liner and made english translation of the songs, but its pretty good folk music none the less.

THIS IS A GREAT CD. IF YOU UNDERSTAND THE DIALOG YOU WONT HAVE ANY PROBLEM. I AM ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THE BAVARIAN DIALOG AS IT APEARS. THIS IS A RARE FORM OF ART TO HAVE. I AM SO PLEASED WITH THIS CD. IF YOU WANT SOME MUSIC TO CHEER YOU UP, THIS ONE WILL DO IT.

I found this CD very enjoyable to listen repeatedly. I do not hesitate to recommend it to anybody who likes music from the Alps and vicinity.

A great a idea to appreciate German style songs. They are very well performed. It let's you appreciate music from that European country and enjoy a party, as Germans use to do. There is a little sample of the Yodel style in one of the songs here contained. A great entertainment for you.

Best Bavarian folksongs I've ever heard!

All Songs on tis CD are of the typical "German Volksmusik"
with "Schwung & Humor" and fun to listen too over & over

After a trip to Germany, I wanted to create a music/picture video for my family & friends and I needed German music.

This was exactly the music I was looking for.

Wonderful potpourri of Bavarian folkmusik. I'm looking forward to finding more of the Lustigen Vagabunden!
