I love this book! This was my purchase of a second, paperback edition for taking with me on the road. I'm a storyteller, and these are not the tales that everyone has already heard. An eclectic anthology of Ashkenazi and Sephardi folklore, all collected in the early years of Israel's statehood under the guidance of the incomparable Dov Noy. Stories for adults and children that are both thought-provoking and entertaining --- worth owning!
