During the summer of 1976, we had a lot of foreign visitors come stay with us. I was 16 with my first real summer job but I would come home to parties and pot luck dinners! One of our guests was my cousin and her husband who was from Iran and he brought me a copy of this record! We listened to it endlessly over and over again. I continued to play it for years until a fire took out my record collection in 1979. I finally found it here, 20 years later! Listening to it now I find it just as addicting and timeless. I played it the other night for some company and several people asked me who the artist was. A must have for any raggae or world beat fan! Jimmy Cliff puts soul into it!

WHEN I ORDER THE CD IT WAS NOT AVAILABLE FOR OVERNITE SHIPMENT. I FINALLY RECEIVED THE CD AFTER SEVERAL WEEK, BUT I CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT. THIS CD SHOULD BE TITLE THE BEST OF JIMMY CLIFF.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

This cd takes me back to a distant past and projects my thoughts to the future. It's a product from my musical idol.

Cliff is no ordinary reggaie artist. This album is one of his best musical accomplishments as a reggaie artist(among other things). But the instrumentation and the soulful voice make it a timeless gem to have in your bed drawer, reggaie lover or not. You can listen to it pretty much in whatever mood you're. This album makes you undestand why Cliff didn't get the international stardom that the scope of his talent would otherwise suggest: being Jamaican and having shown the light to other Jamaican stars including Bob Marley, one would expect him to be constant in his musical genres. He was too much a genius...

I first heard this collection in the early eighties and has been my best album ever done by Jimmy Cliff. I believe it came out titled Unlimited, in an album. I have been trying to get a copy of this collection for the past 15 yrs.

I first listened to this recording when it first came out as an album. Many foreign visitors from all over the world stayed with us. It became the most popularly played record that summer. The music is soulful reggae. It's spiritual hartfelt messsage is universal and created an uplifting mood for many intellectual conversations. Listening to it now, I don't find it to be dated at all. Most of our guests still inquire who the artist is when they hear it. I highly recommend it!

One of the greatest albums of all time. Timeless music and lyrics. Listen twice and you will believe.

I can't beleive i finally found this album! I first heard it in the 70's when I was a teen. I fell in love with the man who owned it, Maybe it was the music?....Thank you Matthew where ever you are.....For all you gave me......... I still wish you were my firstt....And I will never forget you.
