This CD is refreshing. While T. D. Jakes narrates and keeps us focused on the birth of the Savior, Jesus Christ, various well known Gospel artists like Dorinda Clark-Cole, Smokie Norful, Darwin Hobbs, Donald Lawrence with the Tri-City Singers and the 5 Blind Boys of Alabama bring their own flavor of Gospel to the CD. I was very pleased with the variations of Gospel music from traditional to contemporary. T. D. Jakes deserves a pat on the back for this Christmas compilation.

I had the honor of watching this same titled program on television, and I have to say that this is a nice CD. I don't think we should get caught up in the "messengers" of this cd, but focus more on the "message". This cd sets you in the mode of discovering what Christmas is really about - which is celebrating the birth of Christ the Savior and His coming into the world to rescue humanity from sin and spiritual death.

I was very dissappointed with this album. I was hoping that The Potter House Mass Choir Would have been on here More that they were. I was not feeling this album at all. TD jakes needs to stick with the Potter House Mass Choir.
