I liked this a lot! Just be prepared to sit and meditate while the CD is on-- definitly not a cd set to listen to while driving

The presentation of high points from author Martha Beck's Follow Your North Star discussed by the author herself is a delight and an inspiration

I have read legions of self-help "life directional" books at this juncture in my life, and I can attest, at least from my viewpoint, that Martha is one of the very best "Life Coaches" around. Common sense and great humour
are her two sharpest tools, and she is exquisitely talented in teaching others their use as well.

Simple ...not what I exspected too many stories out to left field for me anyway

As a life coach I have read hundreds of self-development books, but never got round to read any Martha Beck. I was really excited to finally get to listen to 'Follow Your North Star' on audio book, but that excitement lasted about 90 minutes.

I can see for total newbies to self-development it could be useful, but she lost me when she talked about meditation like people did in the 1920's, as though it were some big secret that she was revealing to the western world.

I may be being overly critical because I have had clients that raved over this book and it's usefulness is down to the reader, but it was one big yawn to me and I didn't feel I got anything out of it.
