4.0 out of 5 stars Followed: an extraordinary story, May 9, 2003
By
This review is from: Followed (Paperback)
From the moment Neb Borkovich sees his first glowing light at sea, the reader is caught up in speculation as to what the UFO phenomenon is all about. As a researcher of anomalous phenomena, I found this book both interesting and valuable for two reasons: 1. it gives the reader a sense of the vastness of the Pacific Ocean along with the helplessness one feels when alone at sea. 2. it deals with the UFO topic, not only from the perspective of multiple sightings and the reaction of two men to repeated UFO encounters, but also explores the author's attempt to come to grips with his experience. Mr. Borkovich's specualtion of what UFOs may be, their agenda, and how they affect us is refreshing and thought provoking. The author has written a personal, eyewitness account of UFO activity that should be of interest to the serious researcher, and give the casual reader pause to consider the possibilities of extraterrestrial life.

4.0 out of 5 stars Followed is an amazing story, December 19, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Followed (Hardcover)
Neb Borkovich has done a fine job of putting us on board his sailboat, as we follow his adventures across five thousand miles of ocean. It is amazing that he survived to tell us the story of how two people can sail so far is such a small boat. It is even more amazing to find that he was being watched the whole time. There were several parts to Followed that gave me goose pimples: his childhood dream of mysterious eyes, his visions of the future, and, scariest of all, his documented encounters with the most amazing unidentified craft ever seen in the sky. Though I'm not sure I believe in UFO's, I wouldn't sail in the north Pacific for all the tea in China. But it makes for a great read.
