5.0 out of 5 stars Language and rhythm and music and nature speaks
Music for meditation. Music for reflection. Music for relaxation. In the explosion of technology, wall street, sky scrapers, pollution, the population explosion, AIDS, cancer, inflation......we are feeling alienated, distressed, overwhelmed, insignificant......and we long for quiet, privacy, quality, fresh air, clean water, no CNN around the clock, a weekend with nothing...

3.0 out of 5 stars Drummy Spiritual
What made me purchase this CD was due to a song I heard while at my Chiropractor. I believe it was 'Evening Ceremony' that got my interest and since I'm into that spiritual drumming experience, I made the purchase. Another song I like is 'The Circle Complete'. The other songs are okay but I like these two because it gives me a more trance like state. But that's just me...

Music for meditation. Music for reflection. Music for relaxation. In the explosion of technology, wall street, sky scrapers, pollution, the population explosion, AIDS, cancer, inflation......we are feeling alienated, distressed, overwhelmed, insignificant......and we long for quiet, privacy, quality, fresh air, clean water, no CNN around the clock, a weekend with nothing to do......this disc offers a momentary pause, a momentary respite from the pettiness, the burdons, the daily grind, a sanctuary of health and healing......we hear the tambourine, the drums, the wind, the thunder, the chanting, the rain......for a short time you might escape from all your troubles, from the heaviness all around......and feel something good, a momentary renewal, something to take with you when you return to the jaws of our modern day jungle. ps: I especially like track two, "Spirit Rain". This was the selection that I heard before I purchased the cd.

I have owned this CD for 10 years now, and it still is my favorite! I often use it for meditation and relaxation. I honestly don't care for the other things that Dik Darnell has done, but Following The Circle is amazing. I recommend it highly!
