The first recipe I tried was Slow-roasted Tomato Fondue. I should have known better when it called for a total of one hour cooking time of chopped tomatoes in olive oil at 400 degrees. They were burned to a blackened crisp. I will adjust the recipe and try again. There are lots of other recipes that sound very good in the book, but just beware of the instructions.
