About the Author

William Lingwood is one of Britain's best-known names in food photography and his work appears in magazines, books, and advertising campaigns. For Ryland Peters & Smnall he has photographed books that include Cool Cocktails, Dim Sum, Juices and Tonics, Casseroles, Salmon, Pizza, Pasta, and Steaming.

Fiona Smith is an up-and-coming young food writer and food stylist from New Zealand, who also works in Europe. Her work appears in books, magazines, advertising, and on television. Fiona managed on a private chalet in the Swiss Alps during the winter, where she combined her love of good food with a passion for snowboarding. She writes for various publications, inlcduing Cuisine magazine, and her previous book for Ryland Peters & Small was the hugely successful Dim Sum.

I really like the graphics of this book and purchased it because of the cover. I am disappointed in the receipe selection, as it seems it's for the gourmet chef, not your everyday, want to have fun with chocolate, fondue cookbook.

I have had this book for about 7 years now and have made a few of the recipes. Few...because I cannot move past the ones we have tried and love. Our favorite is the tomato fondue and I really like the sides. This is such a little gem. Yes, we like to cook but I am not sure if I agree with the former reviewer that you need to be a gourmet chef to use this. If you like good fondues, you will love it.
