I am NOT a glove person!! However, when machine quilting, I will have to say, Fons & Porter changed my mind. I really like these gloves! They hold the fabric so I'm able to turn and control it and I don't have to use a lot of pressure to accomplish such. Great Item guys!!

There are times when it just becomes necessary to get a better grip on a quilt.
These gloves do the job very well.
Whenever it's time to muscle that quilt through your sewing machine, be sure to have these gloves at the ready. The only "con " that I would mention is that they can get warm if you are prone to "hot flashes ".
I'm glad I have mine!

These gloves work fine for me, but they are rather tight on my hands, and yes I did purchase the correct size. After I had these for awhile I found gloves for about a $1.10 at a home improvement store that work just as well and don't squeeze my hands so much. The ones at the home improvement store are sold as gloves designed for gardening but they too have non-slip gripper on them and I use them more than the Fons and Porter gloves now.

I love these gloves. I have others that are okay but they bug me after I have them on a while because they are tight in the wrist and don't fit right even in my size. These are so comfortable I forget I have them on. I am going to buy more and keep them in my stash. I use them for quilting, serging, thread painting, and some other types of sewing like leather. These are the best I have found so far.

Help me grip the fabric much better than just bare hands! Glad I purchased these gloves! I use them often when I am sewing thick things or bigger things to twist and turn the fabric.

I read on the internet how people use these for quilting, so I wanted to try. I am so glad that I did try these. Makes my quilting so so much easier. I had them in yellow but they showed dirt, so I bought these blue ones. These are much better with the dirt

I bought a pair of these for my co-worker who sliced off the tip of her finger, when using rotary scissors. I told her that is why they make these. These are true to size and fit nicely. I also bought myself a pair.

I bought these at a nationwide fabric store chain. They are typically cheaper than Machingers. I found them to be a bit short for my fingers and short on the hand, but still don't fit snugly, don't grip the fabric as well, and the grippy dots are only on one side(Palm side) and the fingers shift around so the dots are on top or the side. They are lightweight and didn't make my hands hot. I wish they had some elastic around the opening and some spandex for better fit, maybe more dots or bigger dots. All in all, I probably won't buy them again.
