Great resource,
By Loretta Pearson (Colville, WA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Food Allergy Survivors Together Handbook (Paperback)
This is a great resource for those newly diagnosed, those with multiple food allergies, and severe food allergies. It contains practical tips for living with food allergies. It's not a cookbook, but does give help with creating your own recipes, where to find allergen-free foods. There's tips on traveling, eating out, fun non-food activies, and most of all support. The author gives examples from her own life, that are relevant to many of us with food allergies. This book is full of helps and tips to make life with food allergies easier.

Melissa Taylor's FAST book took me out of a dark place right after I was diagnosed with Severe Multiple Allergies. This book is very detailed with her experiences and her path past her allergy problems. She also gives a lot of practical advice for things for people with allergies to watch out for.Melissa is very clear about not giving medical advice. Her ideas on how to make your own recipes from known recipes was very helpful. I highly recommend this book for anyone diagnosed with allergies. |
