A nice little volume to have. The photo essays are entertaining and fit the format well. The written essays, however, seem repetitive, with at least three different articles about the local food movement in Toronto. Definitely could have used more editing. If you're looking for an interesting visual food volume, this is not a bad choice to pick up. But if you're looking for articles to read, any issue of Gastronomica will provide more content.
