Kelly Senyei is a multimedia food journalist, stylist, photographer, and chef. She joined the food blogosphere in 2008 with the launch of her blog, Just a Taste (www.justataste.com), which chronicles her culinary musings tied to everything from easy appetizers and creative cocktails, to quick-fix meals and endless desserts. Kelly is a big proponent of keeping things light in life (and she's not talking about calories) and was motivated to launch her blog to share her family's rich recipe history.

Kelly Senyei is a multimedia food journalist, stylist, photographer, and chef. She is the creator of the blog JustaTaste.com and is presently the Associate Editor of Epicurious.com at Condé Nast. Kelly received her master's degree from The Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University and a Diploma in the Culinary Arts from The Institute of Culinary Education, where she conceptualized and launched the school's first official blog, DICED. Food Blogging for Dummies is a must-read for anyone with a dream involving a wok, a website, and wordpress. It is laid out in the time-proven format of hundreds of other Dummies books, but Kelly Senyei's unique approach shines through. She walks you through the basics of setting up a website, finding your voice, and building our brand. Along the way, she gives the pros and cons of each choice an individual blogger needs to make, letting them determine their own path to success. But what was really impressive to me were all the photography tips. Senyei pulls back the curtain to show the tips and tricks the pros use, that will elevate a basic blogger above the crowd and really stand out. An invaluable reference for those just starting out, or looking to add the icing on the cake. Five stars.

If you are an up and coming journalist and foody like I am (or just one of the two), this book is the perfect fit! The author brings an entirely new perspective to the table (no pun intended). Her photographs are beautiful and her dedication to the subject is extremely apparent. This is one how-to book you won't want to miss and won't be able to put down!

I have always loved cooking and sharing food with my friends and family. Putting my recipes online seemed like the next logical step, so that they could access them wherever they were in the world. I am a little ashamed to admit I didn't know the first thing about starting a website, let alone a food blog. Then I came across Food Blogging for Dummies! It is a great, entertaining, step-by-step resource that has easily led me through everything it takes to start and grow my blog. It is the perfect book for taking your blog from the very beginning to the Big Leagues. I can't wait to keep adding to my blog, making it bigger and better!

Nice book, but on the kindle version, but even when you enlarge it, the diagrams, and photo's do not get larger, and therefore they are not readable.
