I am writing only about the price listed for this product, not the bread itself. Trader Joe's sells this bread for around $3.00 a loaf, same size. How on earth would anyone be foolish enough to pay $14.00 for the same product?!! If this is truly the price per 24oz. loaf it is an incredible rip-off folks; shop at your local store if at all possible. You can get four loaves for the same price.

If you expect a sugar rush from this bread like most breads give you, you will be disappointed. If you have given up eating most breads because of the high glycemic index/sugar rush, and all flour turns to sugar in your body, (this includes pasta, etc.) then this is an alternative. It is about 100x better for you not only in the lower index but also the content of the flourless bread. If you ate a lot of fresh made sourdough yesterday and eat this today, it will be different. Put a little good sweet balsamic vinegar and a tiny bit of good extra virgin olive oil and it is good and fantastic nutrition. Or, if you want a hamburger and normally eat without bread, this is a good alternative.

I do love these products, but why so expensive on Amazon? I purchase the bread at Trader Joe's for less than $5 a loaf. I thought that the $14 and change was for more than one loaf, but it indicates that it's only for 24oz, which is one loaf of bread.

Ezekiel 4:9 Organic Sprouted Bread
I have ulcerative colitis so this product is great for when I just need a snack. I try to avoid eating white flour products so this is a great alternative. A little pricy.
