I originally bought this book because I know Malika. I brought it into work because my team is mostly from out of town, and they go back to this little book of goodness every Friday to help them make plans for the weekend. Thanks, Malika, for compiling this jewel. When does your next edition come out?!

Although I have lived in and around Atlanta for decades, I never realized that there were so many great places for reasonably-priced dinners and lunches. This book contains much valuable information, especially since it was written by someone I know and trust. In the interest of full disclosure, the author is my daughter and I am proud of her accomplishment.

If you are looking for "a great place to eat out" in Atlanta, this is absolutely the best guide you'll find anywhere.

Since we're spoiled for choice with good eateries in Atlanta, making a selection on where to dine can be a problem. The Food Lovers' Guide to Atlanta will help you simplify the overwhelming array of options. As an extra help to the reader, the guide is divided into sections for the various metro regions: Buckhead, Gwinnett / Decatur, Midtown, Cobb and Northwest Atlanta, etc.

Malika Harricharan - a well-known local food blogger and Editor of the Assn. of Food Bloggers - does a fantastic job writing about the little known hard to find places, as well as the vogue landmark icons. She offers her recommendations on some of the best items on the menu as well.

You'll definitely want a copy of The Food Lovers' Guide to Atlanta for your own... and it would make a wonderful holiday stocking stuffer for any foodie you may know.

This was a nice book, more toward visitors than locals it seemed. I thought it would have more places listed. It gives decent write-ups of the places it mentions.
