I really loved this book. The title is exactly right. It's very straight and to the point. Very simple and easy to use the advice given. It's quite practical. I followed the 5 day recipe plan. By the 4th day I had lost 3 lbs. I wasn't hungry all the time. I felt satisfied. Great book!

This book was a great source to help you get started on your Raw journey. She shows you how you can start by going only 50%, 75% or whatever amount you are ready to undertake!

Like her other book I felt that this was about style over substance - pretty pictures and the very complimentary "editorial reviews" presumably from others (the author's friends?) in the raw food arena. I tried to incorporate the suggestions, but just felt bored and hungry. I didn't particularly like the recipes which tasted like sealing plaster sometimes. Also, they aren't all that quick, eg the kale salad, by the time you've finished preparing the leaves and then rubbing in the oil and avocado takes absolutely ages.

This book is better than her first one, she has changed her ideas (just like other so called raw "gurus") so now it's ok to eat less than 100% raw, the purity idea has disappeared and you can freely eat also cooked food, I still don't think that a raw food diet is balanced and I still believe that eating milk (not raw), meat and fish is crucial in a healthy diet and, as numerous scientific researches have demonstrated, cooking for ex. tomatoes made lycopene more bioavailable and the same happens with other fruits, veggies and legumes.
