I bought the book to use in my Kindergarten class. It uses the new food pyramid model and gives good information about each food group plus the vitamins/minerals that are provided. Good pictures. Lots of information but a little too wordy for 5 & 6 year olds--(the book goes into anemia, diabetes,etc.) so I picked out the basic, introductory info and let the kids just see the pictures.
