Editorial Reviews

Review

I found it an informative and enjoyable read that should appeal to a wide readership. The author reminds us of the importance of a co-ordinated approach to food safety by providing the reader with key examples of food-borne disease outbreaks associated with breaches of biosecurity, food processing and handling along the food chain to the consumer.

Reviewed by Chris Thorns, Veterinary Laboratories Agency -- Microbiology Today, August 2007

Whether someone is preparing to teach a food safety course, looking for information about how and why outbreaks occur, or trying to get the facts on a critical food safety event, this author has already done all of the homework. This book is a must-have for any serious food safety professional.

Reviewed by Charles Higgins, National Park Service Public Health Division -- Emerging Infectious Diseases, June 2007

5.0 out of 5 stars A good book, February 15, 2010

This review is from: Food Safety: Old Habits, New Perspectives (Perfect Paperback)
