3.0 out of 5 stars The book might develop other side of obsession!, November 2, 2003

This review is from: Food addiction: The body knows (Paperback)
Looks like a good plan and maybe it will work, but i guess a problem is more psychological than phisiological. author states that ur born with it, but come'on first u start dieting and getting obsessed with ur appearence and than u get an addiction. I used to be normal.. id diet. then would binge on smth i want, but wouldnt eat everything i see.. i wouldnt be concerned.. id think.. oh yeah i just failed coz im not motivated enough, but now i fail and i think im sick! there are ppl who are fat and they eat and they arent concerned, thats why they dont develop that addiction, and there are ppl who are quite skinny (im 5'10 and 130 lbs) and want to lose like 5 pounds and are obsessed with it and thats why addicted! Maybe i wouldnt be if i stopped caring, but i cant be 5 pounds fatter! u see my point? hmm.. hope so! so this book is for those who has gone way too far in addiction.. maybe im getting there too.. but i hope to fight it other way not writing down everything i eat and check ingredient for hours..moreoever i want to enjoy a slice of pizza from time to time.. but be able to stop when i dont want! just want to be normal again!!!
