Ive had this one for 2 years. It was cheap and its was all i found at the time, soo i got it. Its now 2 years later and its still going. It only has 4 blades unlike most who have 6-8, sooo it chops more then minces. I get nice cubbed chicken for pot pies or nice pieces of garlic, i drop it in the dishwasher and it hasnt rusted either! Only after 2 years with lots of use am in the marker for a new one, but only because my blades are getting a little dull and i have no clue of they can be sharpened. BUT over all it was a great little product for the $!

I bought this device only for chopping onions and, even at $3.99, it was a waste of money. I had to cut the onion up into small pieces before putting them into the chopper and even then, the chopper could not chop them into small enouph pieces. The blades are deadly sharp and therefore hard to clean.

This item is wonderful. It's very cheap to buy and works great. When it's time to clean this chopper , just put it in your top rack of dishwasher in seperate pieces and it looks new when done. I've had mine for 10+ years and it is still going strong. I've never even had to sharpen blades . This is a NO maintenance item.

This is an excellent product: reliable, safe, unexpensive, simple, and does exactly it is supposed to do (chop onions :o) )
I definitely recommend it. And on the top of it: does not need energy in order to work.

I've owned two of these and am in the market for a third, but only because I have kids who have dropped and broken the glass jar. I use it only for chopping nuts for baking. It meet my needs perfectly and lasts forever.

Works like the old one I had. Don't need anything fancy, just need to chop those onions and nuts!

I broke a chopper like this one and could not find another one in the stores. In the mean time I purchased two different choppers that were advertised on TV which was a hugh mistake. Neither chopped performed the way that it was advertised. I was in need of a good chopper and found this one. This is a simple chopper to use that does the job, and that is more than I say for the other two which cost a whole lot more. I purchased two of this choppers and put one up as a spare.

I had a chopper like this one years ago and it worked quite well. Over the years I lost it and wanted to replace it. This chopper looked exactly like the one I lost. Except that it was made with much poorer and thinner materials. This chopper is priced low but is not worth it. I couldn't get it apart to clean. The chopping was passable but the plastic is very thin and if you can't take it apart to clean it is not usable. I threw it away.
I have since bought the Slap Chop and am happy with it. The construction is good and easy to clean. And chops very well.

I was disappointed at how thin and cheap the plastic parts are. It's hard to get the lid screwed on right, and forget about dismantling the lid/blade combo for cleaning. I took the lid apart only one time, and it took me forever to re-seat the blade assembly back into the lid.

I don't expect this chopper to last more than a few months without the plastic cracking. At least the blades are very sharp, so for as long as it lasts, it'll chop nicely.

Silly me for not remembering that YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! If you buy cheap, you get cheap.
