This is an interesting idea for a cookbook but the execution is terrible. The writing is is terrible and shows no editing.Pretzel day says that "pretzels came 6 2 be in 18...." Huh? There's a recipe for "curry" and it's spelled "cury." Cheeseball day talks about marinating the moz but there is no such step. Poor.

I checked this book out of the library before purchacing it. I find the recipes to be classics with touches of innovation that also makes them modern. After having the library version for two weeks, I decided I needed one to keep.

I look forward to trying many of the recipes in this book. I liked the way recipes corresponded to different "holidays." I also liked that there were some recipes appropriate for children, as well as just grown-ups.
