5.0 out of 5 stars Best thing every invented for food storage
The best hint I can give you is to put any wet foods, such as meats in the bags and place them in the freezer for an hour or so before you seal them. This will inhibit the juices from the meats from being vacuumed up to the top where the seal is, subsequently interfering with the seal. It's also a lot neater. 1.0 out of 5 stars Would give it zero stars if possible
I have no problems with the Foodsaver rolls ... those seem to work flawlessly. These pre-made bags, however, have been next to worthless. Perhaps I just received a bad batch but only about one out of every 5 bag will even begin to evacuate much less hold a seal. Those that do evacuate typical lose their seals after a while. I'm sticking with the rolls from now on...

I've owned a foodsaver for at least 3 years. I've enjoyed the results of this product so much that I've bought 3 more as presents. They too have been very happy with the products. I particulary enjoy the foodsaver cannisters for fresh fruits and produce.

5.0 out of 5 stars Flawless re-usable bags, December 25, 2005

These bags and all of the Foodsaver brand bags are flawless. The only way they would fail is if they are being used wrong. If you do Ebay you can get these same 32 count gallon bags for about $10.99 + $5.50 for shipping. And sometimes you can find a seller that will combine shipping for multiple boxes. I purchaced 3 boxes of gallon 32 cnt bags for $32.97 + $9.00 for shipping. Also keep in mind that you can wash and re-use these bags as long as they did not hold any kind of meat and that they have never been boiled. I have used them multiple times for things like corn on the cob.

If you never have used a food saver, you are really missing out! The bags are pricey, but they are worth having.

Don't waste your money trying to save a few cents on no-name bags. Use Foodsaver bags with your Foodsaver machine. They work great and hold the vacuum well. never a problem nor air leakage.

For all of you using Ziploc or Glad freezer bags, do yourself a favor & invest in a Foodsaver & the bags. They have increased my freezer space 50% & I don't throw away any freezer burned food anymore. I've used the bags for about 2 years now & the freshness & quality is just like it was when I froze items. I'm hooked on them. I highly recommend them for freezing your spring, summer produce.

I keep meats in the freezer for months and they are as fresh as when I sealed them in FoodSaver bags no freezer burn or off taste as with Zip type bags.

Food saver bags are awesome, they do a great job in keeping meats and breads, or anything else from getting freeze burn. The 1 gallon size comes in handy when I have a large quantity I need to store, I also use the other 2 smaller sizes, this way I have the right size for whatever food I need to save. Love all food saver products:)

Best price I could find. (They're still expensive and I wash them out and reuse them for as long as there's enough bag left to reseal.)

Have been a FoodSaver user for over a year now and it makes long term storage and bulk buying more viable and economic with low or no spoil. The gallon sized bags will hold a myriad of meats, vegetables or dry goods with ease.

4.0 out of 5 stars FOOD SAVER GALLON SIZE BAGS, September 30, 2008
This review is from: FoodSaver 1-Gallon Size Bags, 32 Bags (Kitchen)
I use these bags constantly. They are ideal for freezing larger cuts of meat, fish and vegetables. These bags are must haves for wholesale shoppers. I have even sealed documents for safekeeping in them. Best of all I only discard the ones that I seal meat in or when they start to deteriorate from repeated use.
