Easier than the Rolls,

If you want to store larger things and you have the foodsaver vacsaver this is the way to go. Cost wise its pretty much the same as the roll but you don't have to mess with cutting and sealing. Cutting it straight can be a real pain at times. Unless your doing something really custom these should be big enough. I got the rolls and the gallon bags and discovered most of the time I ended up cutting the rolls to the size of the bags.

Foodsaver vacuum packing bags,
By

I bought a Foodsaver vacuum pkg machine many yrs ago & use it when I come home from grocery to vacuum pack items for freezer. These are great to vacuum pack/seal meats/veggies/just about anything in freezer for literally months & even years as no air gets inside pkg if done correctly. I also pre-freeze anything juicy or soft on non-stick foil, then take off foil & vacuum pack in these bags while they are still frozen. I always keep different sizes of bags on hand for use. Regular plastic bags, even tho labelled for freezer, can't even compare. Perfect for those who hunt
& fish to vacuum pack catch, altho it's also better just as any fresh meat to freeze solid 1st before vacuum pkging.

Good but not as economical as rolls,

I got these because they were on sale and I wanted to see if having a pre-made bag was worth the time savings as compared to making bags out of rolls. In short, if you use your FoodSaver a lot, it probably isn't worth it. I keep a roll in my FoodSaver at all times anyway, so I only save the time it takes to seal the one end. And being able to custom size my bags does save a lot of bag material and, consequently, drop the cost. I'm glad I made the experiment, but I'll stick to the rolls.
