Compatible with FoodSaver brand and most other brands of vacuum-packaging systems, this five-pack of plastic bagging material creates custom bags for storing non-food items and perishable foods. When used with a sealing appliance, the heavy-duty wrap preserves food's flavor and freshness for up to five times longer than other storage methods. Channels in the plastic make air removal more efficient, while its five-ply construction helps ensure a better barrier against moisture and oxygen in the refrigerator or freezer. The bags actually prevent freezer burn, plus they work well for boiling or in the microwave, making reheating frozen home-cooked meals a cinch. Bags can be washed out by hand or in the dishwasher and reused as long as they have not previously stored raw meats, fish, or greasy foods that can pass along food-borne illnesses. The collection includes three 11-inch-by-18-foot rolls and two 8-inch-by-22-foot rolls.

I've recently started to use my food sealer again. So when i shop at the local food warehouse I can buy in bulk. The bags are great, I make extra ingredients for meals, seal it up and toss it in the deep freeze. It is time and money saving. I would recommend that if your new to food sealing, that you read up on what you can freeze and how. I've learned the hard way that not everything should be sealed and froze! Also I've learned that if you seal and freeze fresh vegatables you have to boil first to kill the bacteria, or else the vegatables will thaw and cook up mushy and slimy due to the bacteria growth.
