What has happend to the price?????
Good quality bags but I bought 3 rolls for $14.99 in May and now they are 31.99!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess that's the price you pay.

Sometimes they seal; sometimes they don't seal
I bought these rolls the same time I bought the Rival vacuum sealer. The vacuum sealer came with a few bags which sealed perfectly. However, the Foodsaver rolls (3 pack) sealed unevenly. In other words, some seal and others don't. I have tried every variation possible to get the bags cut from the rolls to seal, and if the bag won't seal, it just won't seal. As a...

Since I got my FoodSaver, I use it to package everything before it goes into the freezer. There is no more freezer burn and no more dehydrated foods. I tend to use the 8" rolls more often than the other sizes, and prefer the rolls to the individual bags. With the rolls, you can make the bags any length you need and there is less waste. I would recommend the FoodSaver to anyone that freezes foods for any period of time.

The bags are pretty straight forward. And although I thought they'd be a bigger size when I ordered it, I tried them out and they were just fine. I love my Foodsaver.

Don't go with knock offs. I have yet to find one that seals and performs as well as the original. At least for now they are worth the money.

I love putting food in these bags. Especially prepared foods. You put them in the freezer and when you want to make them for dinner, you boil some water and put in the frozen bags. You have a perfect dinner in a very short time. They also really do prevent freezer burn much better than Ziploc bags.

No more freezer burn. When I buy larger bags of peas, corn etc...I FoodSaver them immediately, breaking them up into portions for two. Yes, it costs more to do this, but the larger bags - maybe a pound and a half or two pounds are good to the last serving. Before this, I had to throw away so many store bought frozen veggies after a short period of time. I have probably saved money by breaking up the larger bags. I also blanch veggies and freeze individual portions in these 8" bags.

I have tried the off brands and the Sears brand bags. I will never stray from the FoodSaver brand of bags again. I have an older base model FoodSaver sealer that works well harvest season after harvest season.
