This review is from: FoodSaver T020-00025 25-Ounce Sandwich-and-Snack Containers, Set of 3 (Kitchen)
I guess these are okay for sandwiches that need to be vaccum packed, but I've never had the need to vaccum pack a sandwich. The containers are flat and wide....like a piece of bread. The 24-ounce Lunch and LeftOver containers are deeper, but thinner, and are hence more versatile.
The same concerns apply to this container as to the 24-ounce container, so read that review also. I gave this container 3-stars because of it's shape....the other one got 4-stars. Even though the large plastic containers can crack....and are more expensive....and take up more space....I still prefer them to these little Sandwich or Lunch/LeftOver containers. They seem to hold a seal longer.

I just ordered some more of these from Amazon. I bought a couple of sets over a year ago and like them a lot. I read some of the negative comments here and thought I should respond. Someone said they only hold their vacuum for three days? Not my experience at all. I typically keep stuff in them for a couple of weeks and the seal is fine. Makes a nice hiss when I open them. As far as the "rubber band" seal that someone said comes out during washing, yeah it has happened to me a couple of times but you just squeeze it back in. A minor inconvenience.
I like the "Sandwich & Snack Container" style (T020-00025) as opposed to the "Lunch & Leftover Container (T020-00024) because they are wider and can hold a stack of cold cuts better - like slices of ham or chicken. These containers are easier to use than the bags and completely re usable. I use the bags for items I intend to store for weeks or months in the freezer. For items like cold cuts I intend to eat over the next couple of weeks, these containers are great. You can open them several times over that period, take what you plan to eat, then re seal them until the food is gone. If I sound like I work for Foodsaver, I do not. I am an airline pilot living in Malaysia where they don't even sell Foodsaver stuff. So I have to bring my bags and containers back to Kuala Lumpur during my trips back to the US. The prices on Amazon are better than on the Foodsaver web site and shipping much less.

After getting my foodsaver from [...] a few months ago I decided to pick up these containers to put my lunch in for work. So far I'm very happy with them. A sandwich fits perfectly. I also often make rice/stir fry for dinner. When I do I'll make a few extra portions and place them in these containers. It's a great size for a rice bowl type of meal. An added bonus is if friends decide to go out for lunch at work I don't have to worry about food going bad in the fridge. I've brought one on Monday but then gone out to lunch each day. Finally had the stir fry on Friday and I could not tell it was not cooked the night before. Not even the rice.
One thing I do notice is that in the lid there is a thin plastic gasket so the two pieces will seal. When the lid gets wet this can come out. It's almost impossible to put back in wet. When everything is dry it's a piece of cake. I do wonder how this gasket will hold up after many months of use. Also note that the foodsaver hose does not fit directly into this container. There is a small plastic adapter you need to use. There is also a second adapter for non-foodsaver machines. Not a big deal but more things to keep track of.
