I started taking L-Carnitine originally for it's touted fat burning benefits, but instead found it more helpful for recovering from my workouts and achieving faster strength gains. I recover way faster now, and I have put 40lbs on my bench press in just a little over a month, which is really fast for me. (all my lifts have improved dramatically)My cardio endurance has really improved as well. One of the best benefits is better mental functioning and memory, which I was starting to have trouble with from a lack of sleep. This stuff is actually used to treat Alzheimers patients to improve mental functioning as well as heart attack victims to rebuild cardiac tissue. This stuff rocks, and now I won't be without it!

I am a nutritionist and i advise many of my clients to take 2000 mg of l-carnitine once or twice daily for assistance with burning fat and building muscle. everyone loves it!

I've been using pure L-Carnitine for more than 2 years now and it really helped me lose weight, burn the fat. An excellent complement to diet and exercise. It gives me that boost of energy for my workouts!

My vet suggested that I give my Labrador Retriever L-Carnitine. It is helping my 13 year old dog get up to a standing position from the floor.

I'd like to know what is exactly in this formula. I did not feel the effects I was expecting to get. I mentioned the lack of effect to my doctor, and he told me it is impossible to get 500mg of L-carnitine into a pill that is still going to be small enough to swallow. He recommended Dr. Colgan's "Optimum Sports Nutrition" for me to read. Sure enough on page 209 Dr. Colgan mentions a lab tech stating to some athletes it was a dud without even bothering to open the bottle. Dr. Colgan is known for his training of the real James Bond's running of the Western 100 and of course Lee Haney Mr. Olympia.

I nearly choked to death on this pill. If my husband wasn't home I would surely have died. I will never purchase this item ever again.

The cover of the bottle not of good quality and don't protect your product well because its pastic material isn't hard and after several times close and open may be broken,also cotton piece that is inside the bottle is small and not protect tabs well and tabs taste in the mouth is acidic.
