5.0 out of 5 stars Classic
Listened to this album often as a juvenile delinquent...it was the sound track while putting narcotics into our bodies, breaking-and-entering, arson, and other mischief. I have nothing but good memories of this album!

5.0 out of 5 stars music to raise your kids up on!, July 2, 2005
This review is from: Fook (Audio CD)
I grew up on pigface and kmfdm. i remember so many nights trippin out on fook when i was like twelve....surely a little young to be listening to fook yet alone tripping out. but it was worth it. when i finally came around to listening to more popular music, found little that competed and have found myself always coming back. oh, yeah, the remix album "washingmachinemouth" is even trippier. nevermind nin, pigface rips em apart and martin atkins is one of the best drummers of our time-i hear that his elbows have been known to split from playin so f-in hard! and you cant turn down en esch. a must buy for all collectors of american underground and far out music in general.

5.0 out of 5 stars A work of genius, September 9, 2000

You have not heard industrial (or, as the members of pigface would say, "industrious") music until you've heard this album. it's the kind of music that goes far beyond the commercialized and over-done typical Marilyn Manson-esque sound, rather incorporating various new weird musical styles.

Some of the highlights of this album include:

ALLES IST MEIN (feat. en esch from kmfdm)- crazy reincarnation of the old en esch song "ich bin" but with fast drums and massively distorted rapid vocals. i brought this into my german teacher and the only word he could make out was "mein"!

TEN GROUND AND DOWN - one of the most excellent songs i have EVER heard. featuring WONDERFUL vocals from Lesley Rankine and Chris Connelly (from ministry, kmfdm, and revolting cocks). strange slow guitar/violin combination creating an almost gothic dark sound. my favorite pigface song.

I'M STILL ALIVE (feat. en esch) - a nice cheesy industrial song with an obvious en esch musical/lyrical influence. funkay!

all of the tracks on here are innovative and creative, this is a must-have album. so what are you waiting for?

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW!!!!!, July 16, 2011
This review is from: Fook (Audio CD)
This album kicked me in the face. I love it. This is exciting music to me. Not the music out there right now. It challenges you to think about what makes a good song, a good hook. That in my opinion is what bands like Pigface are meant to do.
Plus I love Ogre and Paul Raven(RIP).
Way to go Atkins, you are one hell of a drummer. :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Mind blowing, 3 cd masterpiece, amazing sound quality!, September 7, 2010
This review is from: Fook(Remastered) (Audio CD)
Newly remastered Limited Edition 3-CD re-issue of 3 classic albums, FOOK, WASHINGMACHINE MOUTH and TRUTH WILL OUT. It's very hard to describe the amount of mayhem recorded on these 3 albums, this is Pigface at its finest. The "music" is relentless, totally out of this world. Call it industrial, industrial-rock, grindcore, however you want to categorize this type of music, it's going to blow you away. The sound quality on this remastered 3 cd edition is amazing. Three classic Pigface albums in one package, it can't get any better than that.

4.0 out of 5 stars You need this album!, June 2, 1998
This review is from: Fook (Audio CD)
But this CD! Especially if you've only heard the Reznor incarnation of Pigface--there's a lot more to this band than him. You'll be humming some of these songs for days, even though they're really hard to hum. (At least, I've never figured out how to hum the sound of grinding metal.) The down side is that there are a lot of disposable songs on this CD. But "Hips, Lips.. Power!" more than makes up for that.

Some people just can not grasp pigface! Especially people coming in from the "Trent Reznor's little side project" point of veiw! This album is a must for ALL serious industrial fans let alone Pigface listeners!!! The remix album for Fook (Washingmachine Mouth) is also a 5 star reveiw here, people!
