I PURCHASED MY FIRST IKE AND TINA TURNER CD WHEN I WAS 14YRS. OLD. AT THE TIME I NEVER KNEW MUCH ABOUT THE DUO, I KNEW ONE SONG IN PARTICULAR "PROUD MARY". THE VERY FIRST CD I BOUGHT WAS IKE AND TINA TURNER REVUE- THE SONGS THIS CD HAS ON IT ARE THE BEGINNING OF TINA'S CAREER. OTHERS TO FOLLOW WHERE LEGENDARY SUPERSTARS, BEST OF PROUD MARY, LIVE AND DANGEROUS, BOLD SOUL SISTER WHICH IS A GREAT CD COLLECTION OF HER BLUES SONGS, DANCE WITH IKE AND TINA TURNER, SO FINE, SHAKE A TAIL FEATHER, FINGER POPIN',MISSISSIPPI ROLLING STONE, LIVE IN EUROPE, EVERGREEN,ULTIMATE COLLECTION, LIVE IN PARIS, AND I'M GETTING DON'T PLAY ME CHEAP.

I REALLY LOVE IKE AND TINA'S MUSIC PEOPLE THINK I'M STRANGE BUT I TELL THEM I HAVE THE IKE AND TINA TURNER BLUES.
I SOMETIMES FIND MYSELF COPYING HER STRONG RASPY SINGING STYLE THAT SHE HAD BACK IN THE 60S.

WELL ANYWAY BACK TO THE SUBJECT I BELIVE THAT THIS ALBUM SYMBOLIZES TINA AND HER BEGINNINGS WITH IKE TURNER. SO IF YOU LOVE THE DUO AS MUCH AS I DO PURCHASE THIS CD AND I PROMISE YOU, YOU WON'T BE SORRY.
