5.0 out of 5 stars And the Drama Continues, March 18, 2008
This review is from: Fool Stop Trippin' (Paperback)
I am a HUGE fan of Mrs. Mckinney and it is not a surprise that she blows you away with this book. I can hardly wait until the next book is released in this drama filled series. It is a page turner and keeps you interested from beginning to end. I purchased this book on a Monday and was finished reading it on Tuesday evening. Keep up the good work Mrs. Mckinney.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm glad I read this book!!, March 26, 2008
This review is from: Fool Stop Trippin' (Paperback)
I've read the entire Drama series and I must say that Fool Stop Trippin' is my favorite. How can people go through so much drama it is unbeleivable. And the idea of black magic put into the storyline gave it more of a twist and I didn't want to put the book down. It also leaves you thinking could there be another sequel?

Great work Ms. McKinney and I'm looking forward to your next book.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Thrilling Novel!, March 19, 2009
This review is from: Fool Stop Trippin' (Paperback)
Tarcia is back with more drama than ever. After she finds out that Kentee already has a family, Tarcia will try anything to have him all to herself...even voodoo! But her antics may land her in jail. Leah is finally moving on to a new life with Craig, but will Kentee try to put a monkey wrench into her plans? Meanwhile, Sammie is going through her own problems. She still has some insecurities that may keep her from having a healthy relationship. Sammie also has to deal with finally meeting her father's side of the family.

Tina Brooks McKinney once again brought the non-stop drama with Fool, Stop Trippin'. All of the characters that you love and hate are back and better than ever. Tarcia's cousin Lasonji and her new friend Chauncey add even more craziness to this novel. You'll definitely laugh at some of the antics of Tarcia and her cousin in this story. Readers will also find it refreshing to see Leah finally have the kind of man that she needs in her life. Of course, this novel would not be complete without a whole new set of issues for Sammie and Jasmine. Fool, Stop Trippin' is a thrilling installment to this series.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best of the Drama trilogy, March 14, 2008
This review is from: Fool Stop Trippin' (Paperback)
As much as I loved Tina's first two books (All That Drama and Lawd Mo' Drama) this is my hands on favorite. In this outing, we are treated to an interesting mix of drama, intrigue and the paranormal. Tarcia is out to get the selfish Kentee by any means necessary and gets way more than she bargained for. Leah has been to hell and back and finally has a shot for the happiness she and her children deserve. Sammie...Well, Sammie is Sammie and she is still struggling to find peace in her chaotic life all the while causing even more craziness through her antics.

FST introduces us to other interesting characters but my favorite has to be - Chauncey. I won't ruin it by saying anymore. Let's just say this has to be one of the most unique characters I've ever read and I would like to see a whole book dedicated to his life. He closes the book with one of THE best endings.

Tina, you really brought it!

This book was so good, I started reading it, yesterday morning and didnt put it down until I was finished with it by 11:30 pm the same day. Wow, this was such a good book, the only thing I didnt like about it was Chauncey. For him to have that type of power, why did he have to spend ten years in jail, and for him to be gay, why wasnt Kentee doing him instead of it being the other way around. I wish we could have learned more about Lasonji, I guess there might be another part in the making???? I sure hope so... I enjoyed this book and will continue reading Tina Brooks McKinney books.... Keep up the good work. I like it when an author put their foot into their work...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book!, December 16, 2008
This review is from: Fool Stop Trippin' (Paperback)
I've enjoyed all three books of this triology, All That Drama, Lawd Mo' Drama, and Fool Stop Trippin. I can't say which one I liked the most, so you'll just have to read them for youself for you to decide which one is your favorite. But I will say that I had different emotions with each book and I didn't want to put either one of them down until I was finished!

5.0 out of 5 stars (RAW Rating: 4.5) STOP TRIPPIN', July 22, 2008
By
The RAWSISTAZ Reviewers (RAWSISTAZ.com and BlackBookReviews.net) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Fool Stop Trippin' (Paperback)
FOOL STOP TRIPPIN' begins by reintroducing us to Tarcia, whom we first met in Lawd, Mo Drama. Tarcia is determined to have the man of her dreams, at any cost. It doesn't matter that he already has a wife and family. She is willing to go to great lengths, including using black magic to get what she wants. Her decisions will lead to her losing almost everything, including her life.

Sammie, her half-sister, Jasmine and Leah also return to add spice to an already smoking story. FOOL STOP TRIPPIN' is a book you will not want to put down. Tina McKinney does something I for one wish more authors would do; creates a relationship between characters and their readers. She leaves you wanting more. Excellent Ms. McKinney.

5.0 out of 5 stars Off The Chain!!!!!!!!!!!!!, June 16, 2008
This review is from: Fool Stop Trippin' (Paperback)
I would just like to say that Tina, showed her tail in this book. I read all three of her books in 4 days and had the pleasure of meeting her this past Saturday. "Fool Stop Trippin" was by far the best book in the series. I love the way she incorporated the surprising twist and turns throughout the book. This was one of those books that you hate for it to end. I am so looking forward to the next book in the series to see what happens with Tarcia, Kentee, and Chauncey.

Thanks Tina, for the GREAT time and I look forward to your next book.
