NOT THE ORIGINAL RECORDINGS!!!!!!, December 2, 2011
This sounds really bad!!! Not the original recordings like you hear on the radio, these are remakes, and they are bad!!! This CD was recorded in 2008 in Germany (small print on CD). The songs "Josephine", "On The Beach", "The Road To Hell" (part1&2), "Fool If You Think It's Over", Stainsby Girl", and "Lets Dance" are remakes, they are marked with an asterisk (on the back panel of CD) and the notation says they are new recording, previously unreleased. The rest of the songs,"Someday My Peace Will Come", "Dancing My Blues Away", "Long Is The Time, Hard Is The Road", "Baby Don't Cry", "Born Bad", "Sometimes", and "Blues For Janice" do not have an asterisk after them. I like "Fool If You Think It's Over", that was the main reason I bought this CD, however the version that is on this CD is not the original, sounds bad. If you like blues and downer type songs than you might like some of the songs on here. BEFORE YOU BUY THIS CD, I would recommend you check it out on a MP3 download first. Just my thoughts.
