THis is the most touching easy-to-read book. It has real feelings, a drama, and a good resolution. THe illustrations are marvelous. I can't find my copy so I must get another one. Bruce and Katherine Coville also wrote Sarah's Unicorn which is equally fine.

I loved this book when I was little, and now I read it to my little boy (who I named Will, partly because of the boy who is friendly to the giant in this book). The illustrations are wonderful, and the characters of Will and Harry are endearing. It is silly and funny and a little sad, but it also has an important message about love, and helping others even if they haven't been kind to you. I'm so excited to find I can still buy it -- I was worried it was out of print!
