in 1963 the shirelles were the number one girl group in the world,these albums were two of four released that year. foolish little girl was a hit,with secondary lead by beverly lee (rare).other favorites ,dont say goodnight and mean goodbye,only time will tell,(sam cooke penned)and ooh poo pah doo.this lp was first released on cd on sundaze label. its a mad mad mad world was a concept lp .this lp was not available on cd until this release. my favorite cut is around the world ,with doris on lead. zip-a-dee-doo-da,boys,are other favorites.ace records has done a WONDERFUL job remastering these lp.thankyou for keeping the shirelles music alive.
