Fantastic blend of cultures and sounds and amazing instrumentation!
I was lucky enough to have stumbled upon Fool's Gold from a free download of "Surprise Hotel" on iTunes 2 years ago. That song has been included on every playlist I listen to up to today. The lyrics, even though I don't understand Hebrew, seem so haunting and melodic, and the instrumental, well, is amazing. The entire CD is great- I had the privilege of seeing them live...

Fooled by FOOL'S GOLD
When I read the news of this current CD FOOL'S GOLD I was thinking straight of the former Westcoast band playing with Dan Fogelberg back in the seventies. But I was definitely wrong. This is something else but no Westcoast music. So I will be careful with similar names by the next time - more information on amazone to this CD came right after I received this bluff...

I was lucky enough to have stumbled upon Fool's Gold from a free download of "Surprise Hotel" on iTunes 2 years ago. That song has been included on every playlist I listen to up to today. The lyrics, even though I don't understand Hebrew, seem so haunting and melodic, and the instrumental, well, is amazing. The entire CD is great- I had the privilege of seeing them live in Brooklyn 2 years ago and it was a phenomenal show. I can't wait until their new album is released!
