Every year I get request to have these at our International Board meetings. They are perfect, minty, and keep you awake...everyone likes them. It's not a board meeting without them. They have become a staple to the meetings, like notepads and pens.

Foosh mints are amazing. They blow away any of the other caffeinated candies and gums I have tried so far. Unlike an energy drink, you don't have to consume 8+ oz of disgusting tasting fluid to get the desired effect. Like many energy supplement users and researchers alike, I am still not convinced about the effects of taurine. My colleague's hand seems to be morphing into a large crab-like claw, but we're not worried as it should help during the coming harvest. Foosh can't be beat!

I recently ordered these mints for the first time and I was just a bit skeptical. After I received them in 2 days, I was a little less skeptical. The taste is great- very strong peppermint taste- but no vitamin taste at all and it worked within minutes. That is not the best part, though. The best part was the company's customer service. I can tell you, after dealing with alot of internet companies, Sarah and the rest of them over there should receive some kind of metal or something. I highly recommend ordering these. (I also got the chocolate chews-- excellent results but taste is not so great) One more thing- my order was short 1 item. I email CS and she got the rest of my order out in 2 days again! Plus love the samples with both packages! Give them a try...I was very pleased and will be returning to order more.

Actually a tad less dramatic in its effects but I can 'feel it' soon after a single 'tablet' on the tongue. Not so much as to make my voice quiver and hand shake, but enough to keep me on my toes in the waning hours of a night shift. No critical need to pee or driven impatience that bruises others in the final often pressured minutes. Not a hint of chemical (caffeine) taste, but that may be accomplished with a mix of ingredients that unfortunately accelerate my GI, especially if taken too soon after meals (suspect the sorbitol and sucralose). Wish list: Foosh maker Vroom Foods will 'go green' and drop the Blue Dye #1. They can always keep the jazzy blue tin with the not-so-elder-friendly 2 point font.

When I opt for less kick, less additives, and don't mind the slightest hint of caffeine (alkaloid) taste, there's Penguin Mints, a more refined under-the-tongue experience. 3 or 4 mints in 8 hours leave me with a toothbrush-calling slight starchy deposition on my widest front teeth, but an identifiable minty afterglow that compensates socially.

I used to swear by these, and I still take them semi-regularly. I think they're far and away the best caffeinated mint, and I like them better than soda, which I rarely drink these days.

Foosh mints are far, far stronger than Penguin mints (the first caffeinated mints, as far as I know). A penguin mint is 15mg of caffeine, while a Foosh is 100mg -- half a Vivarin.

They try to play up the "energy" angle, by including things like ginseng and taurine, but it really is just a caffeine tablet with enough peppermint flavor to make it more palatable.

I don't have a problem with the slight bitter tang that the caffeine causes, but you may. Foosh mints are significantly more bitter than Penguins, though much less so than regular caffeine tablets like Vivarin.

They're basically all-artificial, so you don't need to worry about sugar or calories or anything like that. Like diet soda, it forgoes those things in return for a bitter, metallic tang :-)

I'm a big fan of these. One reason for a big pack like this is to let your friends try 'em :-)

100mg of caffeine per mint. What else needs to be said? Heh. The included B vitamans could be a little larger dose, but that's OK. The only down side is the size of each of these little caffeine delivery systems -- they're a little larger than I'd prefer since I eat them two at a time. I would LOVE to have other flavors: cinnamon, vanilla, chocolate, butterscotch.

These Foosh are not for the faint of heart and might be easy to overdose on because they don't have the same volume or consumption time as a cup of coffee equivalent, but if you treat them carefully like the drug delivery system that they are, you'll be fine. My wish and earnest hope is that Vroom finds a way to make them disolve even more quickly! I also wish that Vroom considers putting some nicotine and ephedrine in a new flavor, too...

I hate coffee, so to substitute I've tried various energy drinks and a few different energy candies. These ones are definitely my favorite way to get caffeine. I've probably had a few mints per week since I found them a year ago.

They seem to deliver the caffeine much better than some caffeinated gum that I've had, and unlike some caffeine candies they actually have a LOT of it in a single mint. One mint works about as well for me as a big can of Amp or Monster but they are WAY more convenient and are much cheaper for the same amount of caffeine. They also don't seem to be as diuretic as the drinks.

The mint flavor is fairly strong. When I received the package, I could smell it through 3 layers of plastic wrap! Tastes good though (if you like mint, obviously).

I absolutely love foosh mints. They have a nice peppermint taste that instantly perks you up until the sufficient dose of caffeine kicks in. I love how you only need one mint to get 100mg of caffeine instead of 10-15 like some other brands. I actually cut these with a pill cutter so I can better manage how much energy I need. The tins are nice and great to store in your purse or desk. I can't recommend this product enough. For me, it's definitely worth buying a case than to buy the tins individually to save a few bucks.

I really don't see why you would bother with any other caffeine food. Foosh mints win in all categories:

* Taste - Decent Mint vs Energy drinks

* Portability

* Cost per serving

* Delivery - Foosh can be held under the tongue vs a huge can of drink. This allows for easier consumption with less gastric-upset.

I really don't understand how 5hr energy and drinks like Monster compete with Foosh.

I bought this product because I have to work the early moring shifts a lot and dont have time for coffee. These mints taste a lot like altoids but have a bumpy texture when they are in your mouth for more than a few seconds. Foosh will def keep you awake and going. The reason I gave it four stars is that it needs that extra kick that gives you a more noticeable burst of energy other than just being awake. Maybe Im just too used to caffine and thats why it needs more of a kick but I also find myself very tired at night on the days I use foosh and thats at just one mint a day. Overall I still think this is a good product and a great idea and I will continue to use these to stay awake.
