Straight to the point. The water jets are barely noticeable which defeats the point of a massaging jet. I suspect they're there to redistribute the heated water, not so much for massaging. Even for plastic it feels cheaply made. There are plastic gnarls everywhere, so much for fit and finish. There is a plastic knobby piece in the middle. It comes off but you can put it back. My guess is that I'm supposed to rub my foot on it, also pretty pointless. Considering how little this contraption does, it is very LOUD. The motor is just incessantly humming. I wouldn't mind if it was more powerful, but it's just loud and weak. It's similar to the smaller foot massagers, but with a bigger bin. The bigger bin just holds more water, but does the massager take advantage of more water and more space? No, all of the features are at the bottom of the bin. Is the bin useful for keeping the water contained? Certainly, but those jets barely cause a ripple in the water. Don't worry about overflow or turbulence with those jets. In the end, the bin just makes it heavy and wasteful of water.

There are a few good points. Buttons are waterproof. It (supposedly) emits ozone which should hamper bacterial growth. It's easy to drain (but heavy to get to the sink).

Overall, avoid this product. You can't buy it directly from amazon and footsmart makes you pay for shipping it back. My experience has been stressful and I wasted my money and time.

Carepeutic Foot and Leg Spa Bath Massager

This foot bath is quite deep which is exactly what I wanted. The bubbles are not powerful but they keep the warmth circulating. The heater works great, maintaining the water temperature. With just the heat on the noise is very quiet. With the bubbler on it's a bit more noisy but not extremely so. I am able to sit and watch tv without a problem. I have plantar fasiitis which has been painful for the last three months. After soaking about 30 minutes I was able to walk without limping for the rest of the evening. I almost didn't purchase this because of that other review. I am glad I didn't let him make up my mind.

Like the review title says: it does what it's supposed to, as a foot bath.

Pros: the tub capacity is great; it hold a lot of water, and has a line-marking that tells you where to fill the water up to. The heating system is not bad, I found that the water will heat much faster if you put warm water into the tub initially. The setting for the temperature system is in celsius, so the water can become really hot when it's above 40 degrees celsius.

Cons: the material for the tub is made of plastic, including the rollers for your feet. The wheels underneath the tub aren't aligned for the weight of the tub+water, only the tub. Therefore, rolling this tub when filled is nearly impossible. Draining the water is also a major issue I had with this product; it takes a LONG time to drain, even when the draining has stopped, the tub is still half filled with water. Most of the time I had to lift the tub and dump the water out; the tub is pretty heavy, due to the heating compartment noted as the pink layer on the bottom of the picture.

I would give this product five-stars for being able to maintain the water temperature. But because of the hassles that the product promises it can do, it downgrades to a three-star.

This product is the worst waste of money.. It's a glorified plastic bucket. It says it massages but it does not have any moving parts except for some rollers on the bottom which as soon as you roll your feet on the plastic rollers, they detach. I emptied the water and reattached them , refilled the huge bucket only to have them fall as soon as I tried to roll my feet on them again. Actually all of the plastic parts fell off as soon as I tried to use it. I cannot believe it is selling for 150.00. .. what a" rip off".

I bought this because I broke my ankle and the physical therapist suggested that I soak my ankle. Other foot spa products that I looked at were too shallow. This one goes about 1/2 way up the calf. It has a water heater, timer and aeration. The only negative point is that it is a little noisy with the aerator turned on, but I find the benefits definitely outweigh noise.

This thing is so over priced for what it is that I cannot recommend it to anyone. I had bought this for my dad whose ankle has arthritis and it really bothers him. This was the only model that was deeper and goes to knees so we bought it. We returned it after 1st use. The bubbles / jets (if you can call them that) are so under powered you wonder if the unit is working. A baby's fart creates more bubbles in the water. Save your time and money and don't buy this.

Wish I would have opened this sooner as I would have returned it. Bubbles - really I get more bubble when I pour a soda. The roller on the bottom does not move you have to roll your foot over it and there is not enough room - looks like it should be able to be move it but no. The small one I used to have had spinners on it for massage great - there is no massage in this unit - the only good thing was it keep the water warm. I spend a lot of money for nothing.
