Fantastic, high quality trampoline,
This review is from: 16 Foot Magic Cage Octagon Trampoline Unit (Misc.)
I love this trampoline. It is huge and heavy duty. The net is high quality and sewn to the mat. At first, I thought the 16' size might be too big but once we had it up and running, I was really glad I invested in it.
The one major drawback is that it is not easily assembled by one person in 30 minutes, as advertised, unless you are Arnold Schwartzenegger with 8 arms. I had to bend the metal frame so that it would fit together. I had to use my leg strength combined with my arms to get them just right. I had to use DW-40 and finally a hammer to fit the poles into the frame. The mat has a 450 lb weight limit so pulling that taught with the 112 or so steel springs was an ordeal (and I don't say that lightly). Once it was finished, there is nothing like the glory of this trampoline. Dare I say it was worth it? Indeed! There's nothing like a good jump session under the stars!!

I bought this trampoline after reading and comparing many models. I wanted something our family could do together and was safe (as safe as you can get for a trampoline)
You do need 2 people to install. It's large and getting the frame together needs multiple hands. It took us about an hour after we got the concept. The instructions weren't the best. The springs are strong and if not done in the right order can be an ordeal. The mat and the cage are strong, very strong. The pads are attached to each section with the springs on both ends going through them which keeps them in place. There are no nuts or bults, everything fits together (big box tramps usually have nuts and bolts). My spouse is 275lbs, and we have a 3 and 7 year old and they bounce together without any problems. He can stand in the middle and the kids do not get forced into the middle as most big box tramps do. It reminds us of that commercial for foam mattresses. He can jump on one side and the kids do get bounced, but they aren't flying all over the place. All of us have gotten in and jumped together and we never noticed that it was buckling or flexing. One problem I do forseee is since the mat and the cage are attached together, leaves will be an issue. But, for the sake of safety, I'd rather clean out leaves that are stuck in the seam then seeing my kids with arms or legs stuck between the cage and the mat. It's large and if you have the space, you will be pleased with how big it is. I can see this growing with the kids and won't need replacement every few years like big box tramps do. By the time you replace the big box tramp over and over again, it would be the same cost as the magic circle.
