I purchased this for my friend because his computer tower is hard for him to reach to plug into in it. So this length works well for him - he is happy and I am happy.

My FLIP Camera has a USB port that hangs precariously onto my computer, so I bought these lengthy cables. Now I can set my FLIP Camera on my desk and pass the information through the cable to my computer's USB ports. I don't know why FLIP didn't think of this sooner. No chance of breaking the FLIP USB port anymore. Plus these cables are dirt cheap and very well made!

These cables work great. They're ridiculously cheap--but don't feel cheaply-constructed--and there is no lag whatsoever when used with a keyboard or mouse. Don't let the picture fool you; these are a great buy!

You get what you pay for: These USB extension cables can NOT be used for power; e.g. recharging your iPod/iPhone/iPad. But they work ok for syncing, and at their low price (0.99 as of this writing) it's hard to complain.

I was really excited to get this extension to be able to charge my iPad while using it, but it never worked! I tried it with different devices and still didn't work.

All I wanted this for was so that I could extend the reach of my usb cable to my PS3 since I am too far from the PS3 to connect my controller with the usb cable provided. So far I have not had any problems with it and seems to charge and connect fine. I definetly recommend this as I've heard longer cables seem to malfunction when charging PS3 controllers.

I order a coupple of these cables a couple of months ago, and they are still working with no problems at all. The are cable and they do the job,

I personally use this item so that I can use my cordless mouse from across the room while my laptop is plugged into the big screen. It works like expected.

The only improvement that I would make to this product is to add weight to it so that it can be draped across a room more easily. Of course, I just put a small weight on the wire running across my front table so it stays put.
