Worked for the sole purpose of adding additional antenna to computer for booster. Easy to install with no modifications required.

cheap and gets the job done but with setbacks.
I got this cable earlier than I was told so shipping is very good. This USB cable works great for the price. The setbacks aren't really bad but aren't great. The first set back was that I can't use any of my external hdds with it. My PC(amd Phenom x2, 2gb ram, 500gb hdd, Ati radeon HD 3000 video card) running endows 7 ultimate 64bit wouldn't pick up any external hdd...

My USB ports are located near the bottom of my tower and are difficult to see when trying to plug in my flash drive. Now I have this cable that I leave permanently plugged in to the USB port and have it hanging on the side of the desk where it is easily reachable while I am sitting in the chair. This way it is much more convenient to plug in my flash drive. Works great for this purpose.

But if I plugged in a flash drive or my android phone it picked it up just fine. Also the other setback was the slow data transfers. This cable has slow data transfers compared to if u just plug the drive directly into the USB port. I recommend this cable for the cheap price and for use for basic things. I give this USB cable a 7/10 due to its setbacks.
