1 Foot USB 2.0 Extension Cable

I looked at many cables and saw problems connecting Flip video cameras. Reviews for some cables said they didn't work with the Flip cameras.

I am pleased to say this cable worked flawlessly with my Flip Ultra HD camera. The cable length is perfect for an uncluttered desktop or for travel. My only complaint - I do not prefer the style of the female connector end. Other cables have a female connector end fully enclosed in plastic, while this one has the metal connector (and flanges) exposed. I think it could reduce the life of the cable.

In general, I would recommend.

I haven't measured it... but it definitly isn't over 12" long including the ends... which means the actual cable part is only around 9 - 10 inches long.

At any rate, it looks like what's pictured, and works like you would expect. Just the thing when you need "just a bit more" to reach your application.

The cable is the same color as pictured (grayish) and works as good as my other, more expensive extension cable. What a price, free shipping to boot. Oh, and it got here two days after I ordered it, via USPS; so props to YourCableStore for the product and shipping speed.

When in doubt, start small.

In terms of size and price.

I bought this one-foot cable.

And added a three-foot one to the order.

Just to see which one I would like the best.

I like the little one better.

That's sort of the story of my life.

I don't know about you.

But often for me, smaller and cheaper is the way to go.

Size is overrated. Okay, that's not entirely true, but it's an appropriate comment for this 1 foot USB extension cable. It works with standard USB and 2.0 without issue. There isn't much to say besides it's a common, subtle off-white cable that adds just a bit of length to your USB cable for those "almost reach" moments. In my case, I just wanted a few more inches to loosen the tension between my desktop USB tablet and my Tower CPU. Build quality is normal - the wire is decent, but the USB heads are not particularly great. Especially the receiving (female) end - the metal teeth latch and will hold connections, but it's not deep or smooth. I wouldn't recommended it for something that would require frequent disconnections because the teeth are liable to fatigue and stop latching. Also, like many USB extensions, it's not aesthetically pleasing if your cables don't match - flat plastic white only goes with so much. The only legitimate complaint I have is the actual length. It doesn't look anywhere near a foot in the picture and it most certainly is not a foot. It's more like 9 inches of cable and a few inches for the connectors. The whole thing measures 13" from end to end, so I can see where they get away calling it a foot, but it only adds 9-10" of flexible extension cable. That was fine for me, but potential buyers should keep that in mind.

It's really hard to screw up a USB cable. It works and it's 13 inches long (giggidy xD). What else do you need to know?

I have a 27 inch iMac and all the USB ports are in the back. This 1-foot extension cable is just the right length to gently curve back and down and come to rest on the desk top directly under the body of the iMac within easy reach. Not too long, not too short, just right! I use this extension cable for charging and syncing my iPad and iPod, as well as plugging in flash drives.

Product arrived ahead of schedule, functions as described and seems durable. I'm happy with the purchase and would recommend if you are in need.

This item performs well and as expected. Would buy again if needed. Will tell friends about the value of the product.

There's not really too much to say except that the product came in really fast and it looked exactly as described. works great!
