5.0 out of 5 stars great item
its like the one that the old shoemakers and shoe salesmen used 30 years ago but longer. it's even made out of metal...WOW amazing to find quality like that anymore! having it be so long is really handy if you have a bad back or are just tired of hunting for a little one that constantly gets lost. i have a long telescoping one but it can accidently fold whileyou are...

1.0 out of 5 stars Steel is too thin, makes it weak.
I do not understand all the positive reviews. The shoe horn, folded onto itself after only about a week of use! This is with just basic twice a day usage, of putting on my sneakers, with no excessive force or abuse. The steel is just too thin, It folded right in the middle. I think being that long and thin makes it really weak. I really could not recommend this to...

I've been searching for a shoe horn like the one my Great-Grandmother had, and this is it. It's long enough that you don't have to bend over at all to use it. It really is the perfect shoe horn.

This works very well. It is not flexible which is an advantage...I don't see the point in having flexibility in a shoe horn. At 31 inches it is more than long enough, probably 24 or 26 inches would be sufficient.

5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect extended shoe horn, September 17, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I've never been what you could call a physically flexable person. As I get older I find myself less flexable and putting my shoes on has become an irratating and uncomfortable process of bend over and adjust the shoe with a small shoe horn or my fingers which stings as my foot squeeses my finger against the back of the shoe. With the new shoehorn I simply place the shoe horn against the back of the shoe without having to bend down at all and slip my foot in. I love it. I've tried plastic extended shoehorns but they tend to fail after only a few dozen uses. I suspect this one will last for the rest of my life.

It works! It's very sturdy and does its job. I doubt I'll never need to buy another one. Probably could use it a weapon too if someone tries to mug you when you are putting on your shoes.

If you are looking for a long shoe horn this one cannot be beat.

Solid metal and a good looking flat black, it is long and sturdy enough to slip shoes on without straining a bad back.

It has a small hole in the curved handle to hang it, although I just lean it against the table in my bedroom.

Not a lot else to say about a shoe horn, but this beats those cheap plastic ones by a long shot.

5.0 out of 5 stars My husband loved his Father's Day gift!, June 26, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This was purchased as a Father's Day gift from my kids. The stainless steel is the best material for this product. It has a comfortable curve for the hand to hold onto and the curve of the "horn" is just right. I think this will be a staple at my house for a long time to come. This is the last shoe horn you will have to purchase.

This is a good product. Under extreme use, it may bend, but continues to function!
